The basis for this track was laid down some years ago but, over the past year I have been remixing, remastering and compiling a film, using found footage, to accompany the track.

It's 12 minutes long so I'm asking a lot of the audience to devote such an amount of time to listen to/watch just one track. I'm not entirely sure that I've finished tinkering with it, particularly that final synth part, I'm not entirely happy with it but I also really want to get it out there to see what kind of response it gets.

To begin with, it was just an experimental tune based on a long jam session and neither the tune nor the film seemed to have any message. However, looking at it now, complete with the images, perhaps there is some underlying message about the atomic age, the mystery of life and the horrendous consequences of certain actions, all of which are particularly relevant at the moment. Or maybe it's just random and I selected footage that I liked the look of.

Anyway, it is what it is, still a work in progress, so I hope that you enjoy it and I would love to hear your comments, whether positive or negative about the track.

Over the coming months, I will be taking down the tracks that are here to replace them with remixed and remastered versions. One thing I've always struggled with in my music is the drum track, which has almost always ended up being a random drum loop which may or may not fit the track but works well enough.
